3D Diorama of Kilauea Volcano

Kilauea Volcano is one of the five volcanoes that make up the Hawaiian Islands, which are part of the United States in the central Pacific Ocean. It is the most active volcano on Earth and the most visited. and It is the second youngest volcanic product in the focus of Hawaiian Island. Typically, Kilauea's activity is accompanied by a plume of smoke that can reach the other islands. Its largest eruption occurred in 1920 when the lava reached a height of 20 kilometers in the air. On May 3, 2018, new volcanic fissures opened up in the lower Puna region, and this new explosive eruption was accompanied by toxic gas emissions and strong seismic activity, leading to the evacuation of nearly 2,000 people from Leilani Estates. It erupted again for a duration of 16 months starting from September 2021.

I applied a 3D Diorama, inspired by John Nelson. I would like to mention that I added additional effects, such as smoke coming out of the crater, to indicate volcanic activity. I also placed some map elements that appear as if they are blended with the vertical sector of the volcano, which can be helpful in extracting important geographical information.
It looks like a Delicious piece of geographic cake just came out of the oven 😅
